Pulmonary Function Test Machine Overview

Introduction

This pulmonary function test machine measures the human body’s expiratory and inspiratory function through a respiratory flow transducer, using an advanced micro-computer processing system. Results are displayed on an LCD and printed by a graphic printer after analysis. It simultaneously detects data and curves related to forced vital capacity, vital capacity, maximum voluntary ventilation, airway resistance, small airway conditions, and more, while automatically analyzing the subject’s pulmonary dysfunction.

Measurement Parameters

  1. Vital Capacity (VC): VC, TV, ERV, IRV, IC, MV, RR
  2. Forced Vital Capacity (FVC): FVC, FEV.1, FEV.2, FEV.3, PEF, V75, V50, V25, V50/V25, V25/H
  3. Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV): MVV, BSA, MVV/BSA
  4. Airway Responsiveness Experiment
  5. Bronchodilator Response: Tests performed before and after using a bronchodilator

Use Scope

  1. Clinical Settings: Essential equipment for respiratory departments, thoracic surgery, and pulmonary/bronchitis specialists in hospitals.
  2. Occupational Health: Applied in occupational disease surveys and labor capacity assessments at occupational disease institutes and disease control centers.
  3. Research & Education: Used for research and teaching in sports respiratory physiology and pathology.
