Normal Prostate: Chestnut-sized, transverse diameter 4cm, vertical diameter 3cm, anteroposterior diameter 2cm; a longitudinal median sulcus exists on the posterior surface of gland.
Grade I Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Enlarged like chicken egg, flattened posterior surface with shallow median sulcus.
Grade II Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Moderate enlargement like duck egg, complete disappearance of median sulcus.
Grade III Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Severe enlargement like goose egg, regular surface and hard texture, unreachable gland base by palpation.

Rectal Polyp: Hard nodular mass palpable on posterior rectal wall.
Early Rectal Cancer: Large irregular hard nodular mass on posterior rectal wall, simulating advanced rectal cancer pathological feature.
