Microbial ID/AST Card Core Features
- Test Principles: Colorimetry for microbial identification, turbidimetry for susceptibility testing
- Identification Capability: DL IST card can identify microbes to species and subspecies level
- Antibiotic Coverage: Nearly 200 antibiotics with multi-level concentration; supports multi-drug resistance monitoring (MRSA, β-lac, VRE, VRSA, HLAR, ESBLs, etc.)
- Card Types: ID/AST combo card, AST(MIC) card (with barcode for identification/susceptibility testing)
- Test Card Series: 8 specialized cards for different microbes (Enterobacteriaceae, non-fermentative bacteria/vibrio, staphylococcus/micrococcus, streptococcus, fungi, Neisseria/Haemophilus, Corynebacterium, anaerobe), 10 cards + relevant medium per package
System Core Advantages
- Accurately identifies common clinical pathogens and reports TRUE MIC value via built-in expert system
- Database updated with the latest CLSI/EUCAST/BRCAST standards
- Supports selective/cascade reporting (A/B/C/U groups) to guide rational antibiotic use, providing MIC values and interpretation results
- Multi-language interface, simple operation; with data statistical analysis function
- Compatible with LIS and WHONET systems, realizing seamless result transmission
- Integrated design of reader and analyzer, compact structure and small footprint
Standard Operation Procedure
- Isolate pathogenic microbial strain and prepare required suspension
- Inoculate suspension to test card (60 cards per hour with auto sampling instrument)
- Incubate test card at 37℃ for 18-24h
- Automated reading and analysis of test card by CCL-D2M
- Expert system generates ID/AST report and transmits results to LIS System
