Besides lumbar vertebrae, this model also displays sacrum and coccyx for demonstration of lumbar disc herniation. The triangular sacrum consists of five fused sacral vertebrae at the bottom of the vertebral column and connects with the lumbar spine. Located below the sacrum, the coccyx is formed by 4 to 5 rudimentary tiny vertebrae, forming the terminal part of the spine.
The model clearly presents sacral canal opening, anterior sacral foramina and sacral apertures. Made of imported non-toxic PVC material, it is safe for long-term use.
