Model of Four Stages of Arteriosclerosis (4 Vessel Segments)

Product Description

This model consists of four independent vessel segments to show the four progressive stages of atherosclerosis:

  1. Asymptomatic Stage (Subclinical Stage)
The duration of this stage varies. It covers the early pathological changes up to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques, without any clinical manifestations of damaged organs or tissues.
  2. Ischemic Stage
Vascular stenosis triggers symptoms of organ ischemia.
  3. Necrotic Stage
Acute thrombosis inside blood vessels leads to lumen occlusion, resulting in necrosis of organs and tissues.
  4. Fibrotic Stage
Prolonged ischemia causes fibrosis and atrophy of organs and tissues, accompanied by corresponding symptoms.
