1. Overview

The pressure therapy is one kind of physical therapy that takes advantage of the pressure effect that is away from or low than the atmospheric pressure to work on a part of the human body and to promote the blood circulation. Provided that the atmospheric pressure is "0", then the pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure is the positive pressure, the pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure is the negative pressure, the positive pressure and the negative pressure can work on the treated area singly or alternately.

2. Ultimate principle

Through the pressure therapy, the external pressure difference of the body will be changed, which stimulates the material exchange inside and outside blood vessels, improves the material exchange resulted from the increase of blood viscosity and change of visible component nature, and promotes the healing of ulcers or pressure sores, the regeneration & reparation, and the absorption of edema.

3. Notices:

1. Before the treatment, the sound condition of the device and the bleeding tendency of the patient shall be checked.
2. Before the treatment, the ulcer or pressure sore which has not formed as scar shall be treated after the isolation protection, if there is any one fresh bleeding opening, the treatment shall be postponed.
3. As for the older and the people whose vascular elasticity is poor, the treatment pressure may begin from the low value, and increase gradually after several treatments.
4. During the treatment, the skin color change of the affected limb shall be observed, meanwhile the feeling of the patient shall be inquired, and timely regulate the treatment dose as the circumstances may require.
5. Before the treatment, the treatment function shall be explained to the patient, in order to free his mind of misgivings and encourage him to actively participate in and cooperate with the treatment.
